Colosol Coatings' product portfolio focuses on peelable paints and strippable coatings for a wide range of applications. Temporary or long-term protection of painted surfaces, glass, plastic or metal as well as the reversible redesign of surfaces are possible. Peelable coatings can also be used specifically to improve manufacturing processes.

Peelable coatings are liquid paints that can be applied in different application methods, such as spraying, rolling or dipping. Upon drying they create a peelable film on the surface, so compared to all other coatings, they differ in their revisibility. The coatings are designed for temporary use and can be easily removed if necessary, just like a film. They are therefore mainly used for the temporary protection and after-production redesign of surfaces.

Peelable car paint

CARDIP® is the world's leading product system for peelable automotive coatings. This globally proven product system is based on a patented multi-layer process. It combines high-end components to produce a high-performance, OEM-paint quality film oon top of the original car paint. The peelable film can be up to 300 microns strong and can be clear or any original paint colour.

Dehaftol™

Release coating

The newly developed Dehaftol™ M20 is a special solvent based single component coating. The product forms a permanent release layer on metal and plastic with very strong adhesion when sprayed, rolled or dipped. Overlying layers (e.g. paint layers / overspray / dirt) cannot form a strong bond and can be easily removed with a high pressure water jet. This means that process contaminants can be easily removed without the need for chemical or thermal stripping.

Reflow+™

Self-healing clear coat

Reflow+ is a permanently elastic, high gloss, 2K water based high solid clearcoat for general purpose applications. It is applied like a conventional clearcoat and can be sanded and polished after curing. The clearcoat achieves a very high gloss level and runs like a conventional modern clearcoat.
